In an amazing display of mother-power, Bernadette labored for about 4 hours, then pushed for about 6, and gave birth to our baby girl at approximately 10:22pm MT Tuesday (9/5/06). Zoe weighed in at 9lbs 4oz and 21 3/4in long. Bernadette labored and gave birth completely naturally at our home with the help of our wonderful home birth midwives (Elizabeth and Janelle) and a good friend. Both baby and mom are healthy, happy and beautiful.
